I was honored to be a part of Jazz Arts Initiative‘s THE JAZZ ROOM session once again on May 21 at the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center’s Stage Door Theater. In its second session, renowned trumpeter Mark Rapp played Miles Davis with Phillip Whack on the tenor sax, Chad Lawson on the piano, Ocie Davis on the drums and Ron Brendle on the bass. The theater was packed even fuller than the first session, and the room was alive and full of personality with this group. Learn more about the next session here.
