I love seeing the young artists interacting with their experienced and enthusiastic mentors in situations like this. Jazz Arts Initiative hosts summer music camps each year and always has the best teachers to work hands-on with the kids. It’s been wonderful being able to watch them grow in their confidence and talent during the past year I’ve worked with JAI! This camp session was led by internationally acclaimed Donald Harrison, Jr. and several local musicians.
